The 700 is a frequent link along the south coast from Portsmouth to Brighton via all of the major towns and resorts. It's operated by Stagecoach under the Coastliner sub-brand.

The cheapest day ticket that is valid along the entire route is the Stagecoach South Dayrider Gold, valid on all Stagecoach buses across Hampshire, Wiltshire, West Sussex, Surrey and Berkshire:
- £8.20 for an adult
If you're travelling as a family, (up to 2 adults and 3 children), then get the multi-operator Discovery ticket at £16. It's 50p cheaper than the equivalent Stagecoach Dayrider, is valid for an additional child, and is valid on the buses of several operators, not just Stagecoach.

The Stagecoach South Hants Dayrider at £6.80 for an adult or £12.80 for a family of 4 (max 2 adults) is valid from here on the 700 as far as Emsworth.
The Stagecoach South Dayrider Gold at £8.20 for an adult is valid throughout route 700 and on all Stagecoach buses in Hampshire, West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, Surrey, Berkshire and Wiltshire.
Solent Go allows you to use several bus operators across South Hampshire with just one ticket. On the 700, the Solent Go Portsmouth Day ticket at £5 for an adult is valid as far as Hilsea Lido. The Solent Go Regional Day ticket at £8 for an adult is valid as far as Emsworth.
Discovery is another multi-operator day ticket, valid mainly across Sussex. It costs £8.50 for an adult and £16 for a family of 5 (max 2 adults) and is valid throughout route 700 and on all buses of many operators in Sussex, Surrey and East Hampshire.
