The 12 is a high frequency link between the major towns of the English Riviera, serving several major tourist attractions along the way. It runs every 10 mins Mon-Sat daytimes, every 15 mins Sunday daytimes and every 20 minutes each evening. It's run by Stagecoach.

The cheapest day ticket that is valid throughout route 12 is the Stagecoach Torbay Dayrider at £5 for an adult when buying on the Stagecoach app. Buying a paper ticket from the driver will cost you an extra 50p.

You can look up single and return fares on Stagecoach's website. For some longer journeys, the Torbay Dayrider described above acts as the default single or return ticket.
If travelling further afield, then the Stagecoach South West Explorer, at £8.30 for an adult buying on the Stagecoach app (a paper ticket bought on the bus is currently £9.10), is valid over a wider area. As well as the full route of the 12, it is also valid on all Stagecoach buses in Devon and Cornwall. It is not however valid on the Falcon coach service.
