The T4 connects Cardiff with Newtown via the Brecon Beacons National Park. It's operated by Stagecoach as part of the Welsh Government's TrawsCymru network. It's every 30 mins Mon-Sat daytimes between Cardiff and Merthyr Tydfil and ever 2 hours beyond Merthyr Tydfil to Newtown.
The T4 serves just one stop in Central Cardiff, stop GJ on Greyfriars Road:

Tickets
Single and return fares can be looked up using the journey planner on Stagecoach's website.
The only day ticket valid throughout the T4's route is the TrawsCymru Day Ticket at £11.00. It is also valid on all connecting TrawsCymru services.
For shorter journeys, the following tickets are valid for part of the T4 route:
- Stagecoach Pontypridd Cardiff DayRider at £5.50, valid on the T4 between Cardiff and Pontypridd only. Also valid on all Stagecoach services within the Pontypridd & Cardiff zone.
- Stagecoach South Wales All Zones DayRider at £8.70, valid on the T4 between Cardiff and Felinfach only, plus on all Stagecoach services within their South Wales zone.
- Day NetworkRider at £9.00, valid on the T4 between Cardiff and Llyswen only, plus on all buses of all operators in the South Wales Network.
- Powys Day Rover at £9.00, valid on the T4 between Newtown and Nant Ddu. Also valid all the way to Cardiff, as long as your journey starts or ends in Powys, plus on all buses of all operators in the county of Powys. If you want to hop on and hop off outside Powys, then you need the TrawsCymru Day Ticket, mentioned above.
